At Cornerstone, we are active in the Hunter/ Jumper industry and travel to several A and AA rated shows every year. The knowledge we gain from these shows serves as the basis for our breeding program.
We carefully choose mares that have had success in the show ring and will be an excellent match for Amazing. Through their bloodlines, conformation, temperament, and talent, success is born.
Cara Mia
Caity is a beautiful Holsteiner mare by the incomparable Cassini I and out of a Landlord (Landgraf) mare. On top of her impeccable breeding, she also had a stellar show career with a junior rider. This mare jumps and moves a 10 and we are so thrilled to have her to breed to Amazing. Thank you Kelly McGuinness for the opportunity!
Cara Mia's 2013 colt by Amazing was nothing less than spectacular. K. Jones purchased "Andante" in utero, and although he was only with us for three short weeks, touched all of our lives with his sweet personality. RIP sweet Teo, you are gone much too soon.
Cara Mia's 2014 foal by Amazing was born on June 8 and is a drop dead gorgeous grey colt with three stockings, a sock and a blaze. Airborne aka "Trooper" is offered for sale to a show home, and we are so excited to see how his future develops.
This colt is full of confidence and charisma and combines that with a very sweet puppy dog personality. He loves to be scratched, and will sleep in your lap if you let him!
At his RPSI inspection, Airborne received a Gold Premium and was High Score Foal of the day. This boy is the total package!
On June 4, 2015 we welcomed the third foal from the Amazing/Cara Mia cross, and were blessed with a stunning grey filly named Arabella, or "Ellie". This filly has the most exquisite head and neck and a trot that will make you stop in your tracks. At her RPSI inspection, Ellie received a fantastic score of 8.2, and it was the inspectors recommendation that we keep her for future breeding.
